Stock Brembos and pads are fine. Just be sure to swap fluid to SRF or equivalent. You won’t need the full on race setup until later when you really start cranking the times.

If you do a bar, you need to also do race seats, remove the airbags, and do harnesses. You can’t do one without doing all of it. Otherwise you are compromising the safety features of the car....

I’ve had a few windshields replaced and never had an issue on any car. They typically do a good job.
