If you can spare a couple hundred more, get the HANKOOKS Ventus R-S3's. They stick better than the GY's and don't take as long to warm up like the GY's.

I'm running the exact set up, love the HANKOOK's. 285 up front, 305 on the rear. So far I like these better than the Goodyears.

That's my plan too, I want a set of MMR's for daily driving and a better all around street tire and use my 1lLE's for track. Keep in mind the OEM Z28 wheels are 19', you will have a larger wheel gap...
