Good call. Maybe a Vitesse Throttle Controller might be a good option for my next purchase. Or maybe hold off until I get a tune, which may be able to solve this also? Need to research more.

Fully agreed. This exactly why I bought it, given that right now, I could not afford a ZL1 (let alone a ZL1 1LE). In time, it will become (all things going well) more than a match for a stock ZL1 1LE.
