ZL1 Badging Removal on Carbon Hood

Anyone here remove the ZL1 badging from the carbon fiber insert in their hood? Is it okay to use a heat gun on that? I have a pair of custom ZL1 matt black emblems I want to replace the chrome ones...

Thanks SoCal. I couldn't have done it without all your help. Final figures were on e55 @ 810 hp and 794 ft’ torque. Im pretty happy with those for now. Maybe next spring Ill be looking into heads...
