I had the metal insert in mine and just installed a little over a week ago. I never even noticed if they spun or not. But it seems to be driving nice.

It is easier to get more power out of a Z as it already is supercharged. Many people have 700whp around here with cam, headers, cai, pulley, e85. This is harder to get to this point on an ss.

It hurts it being out. I put a hole in a piston about a month back. My car is being built stronger now. Hopefully have it by end of this week or possibly next week. It sure hurts the wallet though.

If you have changed the crash bar, the ZL1 Addons will not work per their instructions. I would believe you would have to weld their piece onto your crashbar.

When I had mine replaced 2 years ago, it was replaced with a spring-loaded isolator. I immediately the snout off when I got home and changed it. I asked the dealer to change it and they wouldn't.
