Just got the dreaded call. Mechanic pulled the heads and found nothing wrong. Next step is pulling the block which most likely means a bad bearing unfortunately hes not able to do that as hes booked...

Took into the shop after I sent the video to the mechanic. I was thinking its a bad lifter, hes thinking its a bad valve. Im just hoping its nothing worse

Probably does need more air. I recommend a CAI, look into GPI ported intake manifold, and porting the heads. You wont gain 30hp but I assume a nice 15-20hp jump. Im at low 490's for reference you can...

Shocks are stiffer but provide much better handling. Your friend will notice the difference, sway bars bigger as well in case hes receiving that too.

LS7 lifters are a popular choice and I run them myself. Unless you're planning on going above 7000 RPM which would require a big cam and proper airflow, you wont need anything else.

Haha well dam, I want to say I'm a bit relieved. I'm going to check my backlash anyway just to be safe. Seems like the alternative is to go back to stock diff bushings or try with a softer poly....
