I think the driptray will drain in front of the intake, where the hood latch is(not to say some residual water may get on it). So I'm pretty sure you would be fine there. Not sure about the other...

What year is this intake for? the seller says 2012 plus, but its got a straight pipe like all the 10-11s and the 12-15s are slightly curved on the K&N website, any help would be appreciated.
