GM will do a warranty claim to my knowledge, but a $15 suede cleaning kit will save time and hassle. I keep my cleaning kit in my center console box and it works wonders.

I think the Moreno brothers are working on a CF hood extractor. If you can talk you way into a z/28 part I think they're still around the $2500 mark.
