I'm an m6 car as well, If you are similar power to me then you should not be spinning bad at all. What mods you got? I mean you could probably get away with a 325, or just go to a 305/35r20

Curious why you need a 325? I have a 305 pilot sport all season in the back and I don’t even spin. I think I make around 550whp.

Katech is sending one to the shop its at. It will arrive friday. I'm not concerned that it would be difficult to get the remains of the solenoid out. I was just frustrated that it arrived broken.

I cannot believe my luck. And it always happens on a weekend when everything is closed… I was supposed to drop my car off on Monday to have the pump installed.

Yeah… that does sound frustrating. If you don’t mind me asking, who were the tuners? My car isn’t nearly as comprehensive of a build as yours, just a simple untouched bottomed end car, but for the...

Question. Are you trying to learn how to dial this in yourself? If not, why not just let a competent tuner handle it, like GPI.

Does it sounds like an exhuast leak almost? like a sort of chirping screech? as opposed to one monotone screech?

I’ll try. I’ve tried to capture the noise on camera but it’s hard to distinguish when I record it, but I can hear it clearly standing there recording it.

Who tuned your car? I don't have any issues with my GPI tune. I can push in the clutch at any rpm and it'll settle to idle right away.

Typically it is going to mean you lose preload. But to be honest 0.065" is a perfect cold preload if you are sure that is where you are at. Your valvetrain is probably just noisy like mine.

A couple things. hydraulic-Roller cams/lifters do not need a break in. I have been told this by all the big shops. Hydraulic valvetrains are a 0-lash system. If you have any lash at all, there is a...

Do you mean remove all the plastic valving and stuff from the bottom of the factory valley plate / VLOM? Why would you do that anyway and not just rely on the dod plugs?

I’m not 100% but I think the roto-fab offers a touch more power than the K&N. Also you could switch to a 103mm tb. Both of those things combined would net less than 10hp I bet, so might not be worth...

Yes, I’ve only ever been told to measure pushrod length after everything is all assembled. I was recommended 7.850 but when I measured, 7.850 would have only given me .010 of preload.

My stock pushrods were shorter than 7.850. Most cam kits don't come with a single pushrod length, I know for sure that BTR and GPI both have drop-down menus for you to select pushrod length.
