get a bottle of polish, something easy access like Meguiars ultimate polish at walmart and a MF towel.
Put a dab of polish on the towel and work it in by hand and see if it removes it.

Pulled off the SS badge there since its just taped. I 3D printed a little bracket that is a little larger to fit the 1LE and double sided taped it back in place....
