You will need the SS to beat him. My friend has an E92 manual and we are always neck and neck with my L99. A Manual SS with a good driver has a good chance to beat it.

I also had the same problem. The dealer said it could have been debri under the seat. Also adjust your seat he said that if you are positioned too close to the stearing wheel it could throw the light...

It was definetly work it. Ive had 3 BMW's and after 100k they start falling apart and need constant repairs. The SS is faster and looks better it was a win win.

Happened to me a month ago. It took some paint off as well. I had the detailer put touch up paint on it then a clear coat over that. After they buffed it I couldnt notice the damage anymore.

Tire question

As we all know the stock SS rear tire size is 275/40/20. I found a great deal for michelins but the size is 275/35/20. Will the 5mm difference make any difference or cause damage?

The v6 sucked compaired to the m3. The v8 is faster than both and I sleep better at night. I just saw the v6 I traded in selling for $33,000, 4 grand more then when I bought it brand new.
