Dealer had a chance to look at it after almost two weeks. Apparently it was a spun bearing. Won't be getting a replacement engine, just new parts, but at least everything's covered under warranty. ...

So this morning on my way into work, I heard an unsettling knocking or rattling noise coming from the engine compartment. The rattling frequency seems to follow the engine RPMs in that it gets louder...
