It will not. The SS is a LS3 N/A engine, therefore there's no reason to keep the boost(cause it doesn't build any) between shifts. The ZL1 is supercharged and therefore holds the boost between shifts...

Actually it is not the vehicles fault. What if the car rolled over when he turned to sharp and he were thrown out, since it didn't detect an "accident"? Rather be safe then sorry.

Same thing happened to me in my Cobalt SS T/C. Pulled the MAF and MAP sensors and cleaned them with MAF cleaner and it's been running great ever since.

I have a 2010 Cobalt SS Turbo Stage 1. In july I had a CEL come on, and only hitting 5psi. Had it in the shop with codes;

To the OP. Did you run a CARFAX on the vehicle before you bought it? Could've been in an accident prior to your ownership. Or the previous owner swapped it out for a SS fascia. Car looks beautiful...
