I didn't read through this whole section. But I would first make sure that Insurance doesn't eat you alive first! I pay 336 a month with 10k down. If that helps... Insurance is not going to be cheap....

I am stationed in GA. I have spoke with 3 insurance companies and have tried to drop USAA. They couldn't go lower then 123 that was still better than Progressive and Geico.
