Just like the title says....tuned 13 GT500 running running 98 oct. It had oem brakes and brake pads, oem wheels and tires, and complete oem suspension.

While his pb in his 07 GT500 had about $10k...

With great drivers in good conditions you will see the zl1 being faster consistently just as the z06 runs 11.3 or better with the above. The zl1 is a 12.0 to 12.2 car in the hands of the driver oem....

GM ring vids show both the ZL1 and Z06 running from 120-170mph. However the ZL1 gets to 170mph about a sec faster than the Z06. Normal logic says the Z06 should be faster and that no way would GM...

If it was 11.4 why post up a 11.68?

I have seen two slips with the 10/11 gt500 running faster with just tires. 11.3 and 11.1 respectively.

Money....even with 10k down it will have the payments of a small house. GT500 w/ Recaro's 56k + ttl 6k ~ 62k otd - 10k down ~ 52k financed @ 6% for 6 years is 862 a month.

The Z06 is faster than the GT500 but your right it is close enough to make for a great drivers race. The 129 was spinning which is not the safest way down the strip. I would love to see the GT500...
