Door Sills - rubber or metal?

I was just wondering what kind of door sills does everyone have, rubber or metal. I just recieved mine in the mail the gm black ones, but i am second guessing about drilling them in because of rust...

I have a 2011 LS and once you put it in M mode...

I have a 2011 LS and once you put it in M mode and look in the dash it will display a S for sports mode and once the paddle shifter is hit it will go to M1

Removing the Muffler

Has anyone removed their muffler? And if so does it have and bad effect on the car? I knwo that it will make it sound louder which is good :). What are your thoughts?
