GM wants the mix of V8 to V6 to be about 70% or so V6s. The early orders were built as ordered and they ran high at about 85 %. Don't look for a flood of V8s coming up whether ordered or not. ...

Actually, they weren't the ones moving...the flatbed was going close to 80, I blew by the trailers when I recognized the front end of the car on the carrier...there was a nice black CTS behind me...

High production? What they want to build someday...100,000, doesn't relate to the 14,000 that were presold. Those 14,000 were supposed to be done and out BEFORE regular production started.

I also ordered on 10/15 and got word it shipped on 6/30 and is expected 7/12. I agree, this was ridiculous, but still until I actually have my car in my driveway...this isn't over yet.

My order was pulled on 5/21, accepted on 5/26, and spoke to Chevy Customer Service today and they said that TPW would be set soon as it will be built with in 2 weeks. Most likely update this Tuesday...
