Future of Convertible and Z28

In today's issue of Automotive News...GM says the convertible and Z28 are "Shelved". It mentions the convertible may be built in 2011 but no mention of the future of the Z28.

Under normal production, in the case of Camaro after March 16th, from order to build usually does take 6-8 weeks. Our Corvettes run 4-6 weeks with our volume.

We had a "sold order" Impala SS built and shipped and it took close to two weeks after it came off the line. Corvettes on the other had arrive in just a few days after coming off.

In the dealers consensus, there is one Camaro line showing how many they have earned for the month. That is inclusive of all Camaros. Where V6 and V8 play into this is the weekly constraint report....
