Right now HellCat leases is $599 x 36 with $2500 down. Compared with a ZL1 which is actually cheaper at over $700 x 48 with over $7000 down. Something is wrong here.

I'd love to see someone modify/build a 1LE for less than $75k that could outperform the Z. Put them head2head in the standard tests and see who emerges the winner. Would be a cool exercise.

Went through the Costco program and put in touch with local participating dealer, but they said they do not or can not lease a 2014 ZL1.

Any dealer, pls chime in if they will allow leases.

I worked for BMW NA at their VPC when I was younger. Most cars left the VPC for the dealers with 5-10 miles on them. Take it from me, those are HARD miles.

I wouldn't buy any car without a test drive first. Regardless of the car, one might not like the experience. Wanting a refundable deposit is fine, but a test drive is a must.
