PowerDemon, for me, I just toss the rain guard back on with 1 screw when I do a wash. It's really not a big deal. when I'm done, I just remove it again. Easy and free.

Same here, did it at 500 miles and again at 1500....

Same here, did it at 500 miles and again at 1500. Easy to do and my only cost was the oil itself. I'm at 11,000 miles now, probably climb under there and do it again real soon.

Just think of it as you would ride a horse. Forward on the shifter (relaxing the reins) you go faster. Pulling back on the shifter (reins) slows it down. That's my farm boy description, lol.
