For anyone in the future, I was able to solve...

For anyone in the future, I was able to solve this issue. The lower two 10 mm bolts in the attached image were loose. I tightened all four just to be sure but for me the lower two had backed out....

Maybe just not extending support past 5 model years since it’s voluntary? Or could be the BCM is different and gm has this ready first?

I might go bite the bullet and have this done if it truly is a theft preventative update to the BCM. Anyone know if it’s safe to have done if I currently have a tune? Don’t want to drive it around...
