I have read that it is bad to lift the whole rear of the car from the diff. But I did do it before and it seems fine. Does anyone else lift their car from the bottom of the diff?

How much fluid do you think you are using doing this procedure? I usually use about 1.5 liters to do my regular brake flush.

You can always call a local dealers parts...

You can always call a local dealers parts counter. Give them your car info and vin number. They will give you the correct part number.

That really sucks about losing your car. Good thing is you’re ok and got a new ride. These cars are really built well. They have 5 start safety ratings all around.

You shouldn’t over heat the brakes or fluid with Endless. The PTM will definitely make the brakes run a bit hotter if you keep getting it to intervene. Did you smell your brake pads much?

I think there was a video on YouTube that had someone remove the seat skin. And then add some threaded screws into the badge. Then you could make a backing plate and re secure it to the skin.

I would request to have the rear tires replaced with newer ones. Tire Rack sells those older tires with a discount.

They use those binocular type devices here in Vegas with the State Police. I’m not sure exactly what it is , but they have been using it for awhile now.

The 6th gen SS 1LE wheel torque is 140 foot pounds. And the oil pan drain plug is 18 ft pounds.

Well that sucks especially on a brand new car. Can you lift the car and check it your self? The oil drain plug is supposed to be 18 ft lbs.

5th speed in the vert ZL1 will only give you 14 more mph. 155 top speed for the vert. I think the non vert ZL1 is over 200 mph.

If you’re thinking about trading up to a 1SS from your car. I don’t think it would be worth it unless you go up to a 1SS 1LE or higher. The 1LE is an amazing car. Good luck either way.
