Took the trunk liner off, removed old tape and wire loom from the harness. Old wireloom was completely crushed / deformed. Redid everything and created a new opening in the liner so the harness exits...

I will take the liner off today to investigate, but mine is not running almost perpendicular to the trunk when open as shown on Mark114 pictures, it basically running straight down and gets pinched...
