Both are good points. Any seat time is beneficial learning the limits of the car and driver. Doing it with the car closest to its HPDE/Track form is best. As mentioned, there are a variety of options...

AFAIK that's a 'No". The only difference between the ZL1 and ZLE is the red powder coating of the calipers. I do not believe there was any compound difference (part number difference) in the pad....
