Thanks for all the replies.

My curve certainly has a similar shape, but is a little more shallow.

I was debating switching to 5W-50. I'll probably either do that next, or switch to the 0W-40...

Oil pressure?

I've been tracking my 2016 SS for years, but I've never paid much attention to oil pressure. I was looking at some of my AIM logs today though and I notice that it's generally pretty low during track...

To add a little bit to the "flow slow enough that it won't move the bubbles" comment in the previous reply to this thread: I had a similar thought. The motive cap simply can't hold enough pressure in...

As described in my older post, I got my pressure to be OK (not as bad as you describe) by using a pressure bleeder and using the ABS bleed procedure.

However, it's still not as good as I want it...

You're probably lucky. I'm sure the manufacturing tolerances on the master are pretty wide. In fact, they must be, because I doubt I could build even 5 PSI with the thin gasket. You get a better seal...

Cool. That's not so bad.

I'm curious, how do you program the modules? I have an MDI2, but if I subscribe on TDS, I'm just subscribing for my VIN. How do you get the image you need for PDR?

Brake fluid reservoir with screw-on cap?

To make a long story short, I hate the three-prong reservoir cap on my 2016 Camaro SS. It's nearly impossible to get a good seal with my Motive speed bleeder, and it only gets worse at the bleeder's...

I’d try harder with the thick gasket. It’s going to be a tight fit if it’s going to hold.

I have the same issue. Metal cap, thick gasket. I have to use maybe 12 PSI (iirc) to make it not leak (and then at that pressure, the fluid barely flows). If I use the 15-20 recommended in the manual...

Yeah, nice to know now, but it’s in the 2016 manual (without any “if equipped” caveat). They didn’t even sell 1LEs or ZL1s in model year 16.

Just another nice surprise from GM like how a year...

PDR Component part numbers and install

Amazon is good. If you're looking for FAKRA cables, Pasternack is a good option too.

Also, "Water blue" FAKRA connectors are universal and work with any keying (color).
