Your absolutely right.. i got it fixed though, a friend of mine that works at Toyota fixed it up pretty nice.. he soldered them and put some shrink tube thing that when you heat it up IT SHRINKS it...

IDK why they cut it, they just said it wasn't getting enough power, like the halo was dimmed.. then they cut it and connected the halo wire and said it lighted up better..

idk how to explain it so...

My brother has a camaro (as well as my mom and dad lol) and he's had his for about 5 years and the battery is still pretty good, so yea it does last a pretty long time.
