2024 Camaro Fest first timer

Hey everyone,

This will be my first year heading down to Camaro Fest. Pretty stoked for it!!

Not to sure what else goes on around there, is there any places that people recommend for BBQ places and for spots to go to in between the show and stuff for a few days.

Anything worth checking out while there? Iv drove through before but never stopped in that area. We are coming down the Thursday night so we wont make it for the dinner to meet up but with be there all day Friday to Sunday for events. Just looking for some in between things to head to to keep the wife pleased also lol.

My wife always hits up the antique shops near the Corvette plant. Lots of other shopping and stuff to do as well. I'll try and dig up some of the threads where we've listed other things to do. Will be great to have you down and the party will be going strong on Thursday night at the convention center when you arrive.

Take a tour of the Corvette museum if you get a chance

If you are coming down Thursday night, then Friday and Saturday potential other local activities (after attending Cfest @ Beech Bend) could be:
1) Visit our Aviation Park (recently added a nice indoor museum)
2) Lost River Cave - will be nice and cool.
3) You have to visit the National Corvette Museum

If you feel you will have more time, could shoot some other options to you..

The show is the same weekend as the Super Car Reunion. Not European style Super Cars but 50s, 60s and 70s. There will be tons of classic muscle cars there including a lot of Yenko, Baldwin Motion, Harrell, COPO and lots of other very special and rare 60s Camaros, Chevelles, Corvettes and Novas, along with other makes.

They are part of Camaro Fest again this year and will share the drag strip with us on Friday morning
