Eight years old aand going strong!

It is hard to believe that I have owned my 2016 Hyper Blue SS for 8 years (bought it new in March 2016). It now has 43500 miles on it and is running just as strong as ever. Its been practically trouble free. The battery was replaced under warranty and I added a ground cable to remedy a slow start on a hot engine issue. That's been it!

I still get a thrill every time I start it and go for a drive. It's been the most satisfying and enjoyable car I've had in 52 years of driving.

Congrats!!!!!! I had a red '16 SS a few years back, sold it and regretted it. FINALLY got back into one just a few weeks ago.

-ALSO a Hyper Blue '16 SS!:happy0180:

I feel the same way about my 2018. A fantastic car no matter how it's driven.

Congrats!

I really enjoy mine. Purchased it for a weekend only car, but find myself driving it more than intended.

Love my 2016 2SS also - got it July 2016. Still look back at it after parking it.

Still love my 2017 2SS. Bought it in September of 2016. Sadly just turned 12,000 miles last week. She’s a garage queen.

Congratulations! I hope I get to enjoy my ZL1 that long!

Similar! My 2016 velvet blue is at 45k miles. Only ever had one issue with the thermostat. The original 6th gen design still turns heads and looks modern.

Congrats but do you guys even drive them? LOL my 2017 just hit 129,000 miles this morning on the way to work.

Well, I'm retired and it's the second car in the garage. It's not a garage queen as I drive it about 5000-6000 miles a year. So, I drive it mostly alone on errands (or just for the fun of it) and to and from the couple of volunteer things I do. I do drive it in the rain when needed such as when the wife has the other car out.

I'd like to drive it more, but I work from home so my driving is way down and it's not my primary vehicle. I only drive it for fun a couple times per week and the occasional road trip, around 4k miles per year.

Yes, but like Vin Diesel… a quarter mile at a time! :smiling1: :happy0180:

Being car #4 in the fleet means it doesn’t get driven very often… and never in weather that is not perfect. Think I put 400 miles on it last year. At 13,000 miles total on my ‘17, bought it new. The faster it gets, the less I drive it lol.

Was not meant to be a jab at you guys. Mine is my daily and could not bring myself to drive a Toyota Camry as a daily driver. So I will just drive this one until it dies and put a new engine it later. I am 57 and have a few more years to work before I retire. This is my 3rd Camaro in my lifetime, I just enjoy driving everyday.

Isn't that true, ha. My neighbor back at our previous house has a beautiful blue 2013 Hot Wheels SS that he built to the gills and almost never drove it once it was done. When he did, however, we could hear him coming home from at least a mile away :laughabove:

I do try to put more miles on mine, I'm at 21,800 after 6 years. Still not too much, that's for sure.
