Received a survey in the mail because I own a camaro. $5 amazon gift card to answer some questions on a website. It was a bit longer than I thought it would be but it was very interesting and sort of fun. The goal of the survey was to find the most desired features of a mid-level sports car. Check out the attached image...

Electrification is definitely coming to pony cars. It's coming to all.

I just want the twin turbo V6 from the caddy. With gas prices these days I have very little interest in the V8 unless if it's for a garage queen or a pickup truck

But that's less efficient than the LT1..

[QUOTE=ChefBorOzzy;9906855]But that's less efficient

Super is a 140 a liter up here in Canada that's like 6 bucks a gallon

And also man are you really going to say you're getting 20 miles per gallon on the LT1 I would think as soon as you put your foot into that the mileage Goes to Hell am I wrong can you beat on that car all day and get great gas mileage?

I don't want no hybrid. Not on a sporty car like the Camaro. The maintenance costs and added complexity would be horrid. Not everyone trades their car in every 3-5 years.

The twin turbo in the Caddy is rated lower than LT1 in Camaro as far as MPG is concerned.

I received the same shady letter in the mail, but $5 to go to some website and give them my information was not worth it.

Electric is inevitable.

That's crazy I'm wondering if that's because the Camaro turns off four cylinders while cruising. Well hopefully GM can get that twin turbos gas mileage down for the future I would truly like to own that engine

And fuel mileage on the TT V6 will go to hell too if you stomp on it. Turbocharged engines are only efficient if you stay out of boost. Moment you go into boost, goodbye fuel economy.

I'll take a naturally aspirated V8 over a TT V6. Much simpler setup and cheaper to maintain.
