While you are waiting, read the owners and infotainment manuals, for download off my Dropbox site

The 14 and15 manuals are virtually the same....

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/s3xd0ohr5...e5LGaAtta?dl=0

Then you won't have to ask these basic questions....

Might need to apply a little Aloe Vera to that burn.........

Bulos 09-16-2014 03:38 PM

Well it's nice to know that stuff is posted but was it that big of a deal really to ask here?

It's funny how the internet increases our courage and lowers our tolerance levels. I am 6'3" and 275 in decent shape people never get mouthy with me in real life but the internet is a different story.

All I can say is feel free to ask as many questions as you wish and don't be bashful or feel stupid no matter how simple or complicated it is... IMHO that's what the forum should be all about. :happy0180:

is there a way of driving the car if the start button doesn't respond? Do u just start with the remote or app and drive off?

Glen e 09-16-2014 04:41 PM

Easy there boys, I meany no "burn " or whatever you want to call it. I certainly have proven I'll answer any question that remotely looks like it is unique or not easily avail. The simple fact I attached the docs makes it much more than a crude "RTFM" post.

When I was getting my car, I asked a few questions and then someone sent me the infotainment manual and the owners book. I found they answered virtually every question I had and my delivery went much smoother. I was happy someone told me to "read the manual".

No burn, just common sense, it's the teach a man to fish thing. If you don't get that , then I can't do much about it. We will disagree what a forum is for, if the questions are basic , I think they should be answered by reading, not asking. Your opin may vary. Not posting on this any more.

I appreciate it Glen wasn't sure on the in tent of your first reply and my comments were general not aimed specifically at anyone for as I said I really didn't know.

I will say that Glen E is the "go to guy" for any paint/detailing/or tech stuff in my book...laborsmith is the GM Guru like Becky D and there are several great guys and gals on the site..............

I seriously can't say anything...I borrowed my dad's 2006 to drive my daughter to an event and when I got there I could not figure out how to turn the darn thing off!!! How embarassing...I did try pushing the button again and luckily I must have hit it right because it turned off. All my Vette's have keys...until the next one... :)
