Aftermarket Exhaust Drive Mode

I am looking to improve the exhaust sound to my 2015 Corvette Z06. However I like the different drive settings that can reduce the sound and increase the exhaust sound. What are my options to improve the exhaust sound while still keeping the option to change the drive mode?

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. You can override the standard sound settings. Example: You can put the exhaust in silent mode while car is in track and make them loud etc while in Eco or Tour using settings on the display screen.

I did a few things to enhance the sound on my '16 Z06, and quite happy with the outcome. Installed a Borla x-pipe (eliminates the secondary unmonitored cats, no CEL), pulled the NPP exhaust fuse, which leaves the flaps open, installed an AFM disabler (eliminated the 4 cyl mode, works best on A8s).

At idle, has a nice rumble, at cruising, just an altogether pleasant sound, and put your foot into it a bit, oh yeah, the beast awakens.

Flowmaster offers one Axle-back System for your Corvette (part# 817763). Our stainless steel Outlaw system is made in the USA from 409S steel and includes a limited, lifetime warranty. Our Outlaw Axle-back System has the exhaust valves integrated within the muffler and allows you full control of the exhaust valve system just like the stock system. You failed to mention the type of exhaust note that you're looking for. The exhaust tone on the Outlaw Axle-back will be pretty moderate when your cruising and you can open it up if at the track or when you see fit. I have included a link below to the system itself and a link to a short Youtube video for you to look at. If you have any additional questions please feel free to PM me or give us a call at 707-544-4761.

I just mean I want an aftermarket exhaust to be louder on track mode but still the option to use stealth mode if I don't want the car so loud. I am worried an aftermarket exhaust will eliminate that option so that my car has to be loud all the time

great, I will listen to it. Sounds like what I might be looking for.

I got the Flowmaster Outlaw exhaust last year and I love it. I have a question though, will it add any horsepower?

You could always use anyone's aftermarket exhaust that utilizes the factory muffler. As long as the connecting pipes hook up to oem muffler you won't lose the hardware that gives you the option to select different sound levels.

Instead of catback, get some long tube headers for better hp.
