Are you leaving your Camaro stock?

Would love to hear from you guys not doing any mods. Reasons why?

Stock.
I am broke after buying the car

NicksVSix 07-12-2010 09:49 PM

No mods here.
Why?
I just wanted a Camaro and I bought what I could afford: Absolute base model LS.

First, adding mods would defeat the purpose of buying the cheapest model Camaro there is. Second, if I could afford the mods, I would have just bought a 1LT with the RS package. Lastly, I kinda just like it as is. I don't really feel the need to frig with it. I love the way it looks and I'm quite happy with it's performance.

Stock. Gotta pay for school first

Dreamer2430 07-12-2010 09:53 PM

I financed mine, so technically the bank still owns mine. I really can't justify spending money on mods until the car is actually mine. I've already come up with a giant list of mods I want to do to it. I've even priced out my options.

I am building up funds, I want to have more money put away before I mod with this economy the way it is, I need to have a rainy day fund for now. Although I am going to do the exhaust very soon, cant stand seeing those huge mufflers on it. Also I really would like to buy the GMPP headers and CAI just to for sure avoid any warranty issues, but GM is really dragging its feet, go figure Ford has a bunch of MODs ready quickly for its 5.0 that are factory backed.

ketel0ne 07-12-2010 09:55 PM

My mods :)
4 Gauge pack dealer add on
Mat for the trunk bought after the purchase
Spare tire dealer add on

It will stay this way, if I need more I will buy an SS.

No :D See my signature and click on the link.

Why? Because we always wanted a street-rod to cruise around in and take to the track. And it's FUN!

Stock, It's still under warranty, I have a truck that I race it's a '99 and it's paid for

In the end, modding one's car is just a very expensive hobby.

I want to get new exhausts, cold air intakes, long tube headers, brembo brakes, and finally a turbocharger. Mainly because I like the thought of having a more efficiently(lighter and with less restrictive gas flow) running machine.

But for now, I will just be happy with the window tint. It is much smarter to put all my extra money into paying off the house.

Gigachip 07-12-2010 10:06 PM

Stock, Because the items like mufflers/headers/intake that I could buy..I rather put the money towards a tv, sound system, and camera for my apt.

PAUL SS 07-12-2010 10:08 PM

Trying too. So far have only changed the stock intake tube. But I have an itch to change my front and rear bow ties.

Are you sure, Honestly I would think that is the worst thing to do with the way House values got the beatdown, but what else are your options a 12mo cd at .25%.
