Checking Software/Map Versions
In case you want to check your software or Nav map version:
* Go to Nav screen * Select Settings * Scroll to bottom of screen and select Software Information I'm not sure if the numbers below are the latest, but mine read: Software: 23493441 Grace Note: 23432184 Map: 23431286 For those with the Nav option, do you see any different verisons? |
Just received my map update, and the number for the new map is 23496379

It may well have been the latest - when you checked a few weeks ago. An update could easily have been released shortly after you checked, one that CCS may not have been told about until after said release.
I would just see if there is any update when you next go to the dealer for other service. |
I think it depends on what year car you have. I just checked at Navteq and it says "23496379" is the current software for a 2014 C7, but that "you have the current version already" when enquiring for the 2015. Food for thought.
