Unveiling on Friday June 28
Tomorrow the wraps from two vehicles on display in Bowling Green will be taken off, and it looks like one has a wider body than the other. I am thinking the C7-R will be the wider one and the future ZR1 will be the second.
Chevrolet has not announced an official start of regular production date and it seems we are in the time frame for such an announcement, so I am expecting the date will come out sometime during the course of tomorrow. Laborsmith |

Is there a YouTube link for this?

Don't know. This is the 60th Anniversary Event at the National Corvette Museum so it may be on their web cams:
http://www.corvettemuseum.org/webcam/camera2.shtml Or it may not. We will know soon. Bowling Green is central time so the web cam clock may be showing a time different from your own clock. Now that i said that, 1PM Reveal may be 2PM eastern. Laborsmith |
Reports indicate the big reveal was so ovwhelming that those in attendance were reduced to silence and that no C7-R or its street version ZR1 was included.
Also, I have yet to find a start of production date although CorvetteCentral is posting that there is a delay. Delay in start of regular production sometimes is announced but to my memory after a start date announced. I am still projecting regular production cars will be rolling off the line at the beginning of August. Laborsmith |
