Forum very slow lately. Anyone else?

Click on a thread, watch hourglass for 5 seconds before the page loads. Just thought I'd give a heads up.

Yup, been running very slow. Been seeing it go down around 5AM CT every day for the past few weeks as well. Ends up error 505'ing, and about 20 minutes later starts working again.

Is it every thread that is slow, or does it tend to happen with threads that contain a lot of pictures or are very, very long? If it happens to be a long thread (such as a lounge or game thread) we will happily close it & start a new one. Nothing can be done with a picture thread though. And if its happening everywhere, its something that admin needs to look into

That is normal, scheduled maintenance. It needs to happen to keep all the 1's and 0's happy, and admin try to pick a time that hinders the fewest people.

I assumed so. Just figured I would relay.

Yes it's running slow here. Pretty consistent the last few weeks.

It's slow with most threads. It doesn't seem to matter what size the thread is or the picture amount from what I'm seeing here.

Pretty much every action on the forum now. Does not help that we are hosted on GoDaddy, one of the lowest quality entry level hosting sites available.

Had me thinking it was my iPad, but yes it's been slow as heck.

Got this message a few times last night, and more this morning. Seems to have started when all the new sections were added. Site seems even slower then it usually is too...

Same thing on my home computer, work computer and phone.

Happens to me most often in the morning. When everyone is checking in
to find out what's new going on overnight.

I get to work about 5:30
