Apple Carplay standard on 2015 models?
 

Anyone know if this would come standard on 2015 models?

Hope so but just a bit too early to tell although many manufacturers have committed... what would be even better is if it can eventually be available for all C7's via software app update.

I agree! I'm getting mine in September and I'd wait another month or two to get Carplay integration. IF ONLY someone from GM could appear on the forum and answer that haha

iPhone.. what garbage.. they need to do Android.. there are more android phones sold a year then iPhone..

Don't hold your breath on this being in the 2015 models.....a little too early.

It should be an easy add. The concept of the infotainment system is apps. You should be able to download and add apps. Has anyone seen anything on additional apps? For example, XM delivers stock data. It is however not on the system. I will say this that the weather radar is great. Here is Florida, storms pop up all the time, and being able to see the weather radar is great.

I'm curious how they will handle the Open Automotive alliance versus Apple Carplay. GM signed up for the OAA, but Chevrolet's logo is on the Carplay site - perhaps they'll be options you can install on top of or in lieu of the Mylink system?
