Normal Engine Noise?
 

I was hoping the more knowledgeable members can help me out with something. This car is my first V8 so I'm not sure if the engine noise I'm hearing is normal or if there's something to be concerned with.

Can someone listen to the video and see if the ticking/clicking noise is normal? Car is a C7 3LT Z51 if that matters.

It's hard to tell what , if any, sound you're referring to as you scanned the engine bay pretty quickly. C7s started using a new design fuel pump that has a slight ticking sound that is normal.

Did you found out something unusual? We will be checking the buddy's C7 right after we finished installing the new shocks and bushwascker fender flares on his truck. He recently acquired the Corvette and described a sound similar to that. The last job was the cabin air filter replacement.
