Has anyone ever played the PC game Star Wars: The Old Republic? Is this game similar is the style of play? except you just use guns?

I've played SWTOR but not destiny. Sorry.

No it's nothing like swtor. Best I can describe is it's like Halo and Borderlands put together.

Well I will say this I never played Borderlands and I did play a lil Halo but never really liked it for some reason. But I do love the gameplay in this it has me just counting the days till the 9th and I also am thinking of Taking off that day to play and install the game too. I just cant wait it has been awhile since I have been this excited for a game release I kinda want to say the last time ive been this excited was maybe when GT5 came out.

PMC it's just a shooting game where you rank up your character, guns, armor, magic etc. And it's meant to be played with friends cause some of the bosses were bullet sponges!

Ok, probably not a game for me then. I'll still try out a demo if possible, because of the hype.

Your "demo" was the public beta. There won't be one sad to say. Its almost exactly like borderlands and I really enjoy that franchise. I also enjoyed both the alpha and beta so I'm getting it.

And yes your username carries over to ps4. Just like Xbox its same network just different console.

Yeah I cant really compare it to any other game. Its definitely an FPS with an MMO feel to it. As you are constantly leveling to get better armor, weapons, skills. You can solo play if you wanted as even if you arent grouped up people can still help you kill mobs. You get credit for the kills as long as you do some damage to them, even if another person is attacking it.

I may end up getting a PS4 and destiny with it after discussing it with a buddy of mine. Still not certain, but I have almost 200 bucks of gamestop gift cards burning a hole in my pocket and a bunch of older games to trade in.

I'll be playing Destiny on Xbox One. I'm definitely down for some co-op with fellow C5 members!
