I would never consider buying a single one of those cars. I can't get past the looks of even one of them.

Personally I can't see why anyone would pay that much for a Civic Type R, when for 38k you could get get something like a V8 Mustang or Camaro, or god knows what else

Anyone who calls a Subaru BRZ incredibly fast has lost all credibility with me

In my opinion, none of the cars listed in the aforementioned article are true sports cars.

All I see in the article are some hot hatches, hairdresser's cars and a convertible nissan.

I do not want to argue with anyone, these are my opinions and your results may vary.

If it's a true sportscar, affordability is not a consideration.

So before my current car , I hadn’t owned a muscle car for 20+ years. I’m not gonna lie but I looked at some of the cars on this list. It didn’t take long, however, to realize I was just too old for them LOL!

This is easy - I already own a 38K sports car. I don't consider the Gen 6 SS a muscle car as it far surpasses that old "straight line" performance label.

I wouldn't buy one car on that list (well maybe the miata).

Coded4SS 07-28-2020 03:12 PM

So there's nothing really.wrong with these cars. But for some reason the non American car people seem to think "everyone" drives a muscle car and they want something different. I don't agree with the mentality. But these are plenty fun cars. the article is just trying to create a stir with the headline. It worked lol

To be accurate, this is a list of ordinary cars which may or may not be equipped with "A" feature or two commonly associated with a sports car, all for an outrageously unreasonable amount of money.

God those are fugly. The ONLY 1 I'd consider would be the WRX, even then for a family car, but the Charger is so much better.

What is even more hilarious is the WRX they show is the S209 which has an MSRP of $63,995 dollars. I owned an STI for over 12 years so as soon I saw the picture I was like " That's :censored:"

The only one I'd consider owning is the type-r, looks aside it handles pretty good, and I care about handling. I'd probably take it over the challenger. But I can't stand those boats. I drove my cousins scat pack and it was awful.
