How much is your Corvette monthly payment?

I was doing the math calculation and was surprised that with a $20K down for 60 months came out to be almost $1,000/mth. My loan including tax (pretty high), title & registration came out about $74,000.

What is your monthly payment on your Vette?

Fasttoys 11-04-2013 11:34 PM

I am not big on payments unless its at 0% or very low interest so I can invest my money. But I know many do. All depends how long you want to keep the car. So 20k down on 74k deal: In order to get a 1000 payment for 60 months your interest rate needs to be 4.4% or higher. Seams like a high interest rate to me. Take 54k at 2% for 72 months Payment is $796.00. Sell it in two years

Jan. 2016
$796.52 monthly payment
$735.33 payment principle at the 24th month
$61.19 Interest at 24th month. Gets lower every month first payment was $90.00
$1,892.18 Two years in interest or full loan 60 month $3,349.72
$35,979.09 Pay-off in two years.

60 Month at 4.4% based off you stating 1000 per month loan for 54K. Rate to high depends on your credit score. Interest goes to banks pocket

Jan. 2016
$1,004.27 monthly Payment
$880.29 Principle
$123.97 Interest at 24th month payment
$4,037.66 Two years in interest or full loan 60 month $6,256.17
$32,930.93 Pay-off in two years

Lotus Evora

Fast Toys,

How you like your Lotus Evora? I was thinking to buy that one too but the Stingray is so hot to resist.

The Lotus Evora S has one of the best suspensions and steering in the business. It feels like an under powered McLaren mp4 12c which I have driven many times. My only complaint about the car was the lack of power. It should have had about 400+ instead of 350 from the factory. Lotus claims 0 to 60 is about 4.3 but then again this car was designed for the curvy roads. I sold her on Saturday after 2 years of ownership. The Lotus dealer needed some inventory and gave me an offer I could not refuse. I plan on replacing her with the Alfa 4C, I put a deposit on the 4C about a year ago. Lotus was purchased by a company called DRB out of China. I don't like the direction of the new owners and got tired of waiting for the new Esprit which was killed after they took over the company. My 2014 C7 Z51 is on order and been sitting at 3000 for a week. I cant wait to get the C7 my Porsche & car club friends think I am crazy but I don't care I buy what I like and don't drink the Kool Aid for any brand.

Yep…right around that for my 2LT/Z51 SoCal. Why does $1000+/mo in SoCal seem so "normal" for a car payment? I won't even say what my wife's Panamera payment is. Geez!

TimboSlice619 11-06-2013 08:12 AM

$316 a month  I put 49K down and took out a loan for $16,000. Took a slight setback for my down payment on my house, but how can you resist the Stingray?!

- 20 k down,
- 3.49% APR

I'm putting 15k down on 69k total w/tax and 4% rate and will be right at 1k payments. plan on paying it off by the end of 2014 though.

zimm888 11-06-2013 06:18 PM

I'm rly stuck on buying this car or trying out a lease option.

The best few years are going to bring hell of a beast out in the C7.

Plus this will be my first vette, maybe I won't even like it. NOT!

At least it seems I'll have an eternity in GM limbo to decide.

SilverRay 11-06-2013 07:28 PM

Yeah don't like payments, probably shouldn't post this but what the hell, sold my C6 and my Harley giving me 56,000 trade-in, total cost of Stingray 72,415.00 plus tax, payment $0.00

GQ4Life 11-06-2013 08:14 PM
