Hello everyone - old camaro owner, new forum member. In a nutshell I went a local Chevy dealer here in WA to look at a used C6Z back in 2018, but there on the lot was also this beautiful brand new 2018 black 1SS that had caught my eye. What was supposed to be a straightforward purchase quickly became a difficult decision - leave with the car that I came for or instead purchase the very impressive newer automobile?
I ended up buying them both.
Fast forward to 2021 and over the past three years the Camaro had really grown on me. I found myself favoring it over the Corvette (which was unexpected as the C6Z was a dream car for years prior its purchase). I liked the speed and agility of the vette but preferred the look/tech/ auto trans in the Camaro... so ended up trading the C6Z in last year for a new ZL1 1LE (yes, I now own two camaros) - my neighbors think I'm nuts lol.
Anyways, great to finally be part of the community here! A few pics below - purchase of the SS, trading the Z in for the ZL1(we had to purchase the ZL1 from out of state which is why we are at a private lot for pickup... just where the transport guy wanted us to meet up), and finally the two cars side by side.
