C7 Carbon Fiber Parts coming soon from Lashway Motorsports

NEW for the C7! World's finest Carbon Fiber exterior parts exclusively for the Stringray Corvette!

We have developed custom one off parts for the C7 (all trim levels) out of 100% real Carbon Fiber. These parts are entirely made in the USA as well - and we're sticking to that. We partnered with a very reputable composites company for this project and the results are unreal.

The first PROTOTYPE to be released are a beautiful set of side skirts. We will have two style available shortly. The style you see below is what we call our "Race" skirts. There is more visible material, and less contour to the exterior lines of the vehicle. They feature a more aggressive profile.

The second version, which will have the designation of "Street" are more contoured to the exterior lines of the Stringray. They are a bit smaller in width, and less aggressive by design. They are absolutely beautiful and are ideal for someone looking to add just a touch of carbon on their vehicle without going to aggressive on the styling.

Pricing has not yet been determined as these are only prototypes. What you see in the following photos are a third of the overall quality that the production items will be. These were built to give you, the customer, and idea of the overall theme of these parts.

We also offer Kevlar products which allow us to build these identical parts in various colors and finishes - Red, Blue, Purple, Green, Yellow ETC.

Please contact us for more information. Once we have the prototypes dialed-in, we will begin to take pre-orders.

Once again, this is only the test piece. It is a mold that is laminated with real CF. The final production parts will be entirely made of CF, and will have a better finish than this.

We are still using the vehicle for other product development, and are waiting on some wheels to do a formal "shoot" at various angles.

If you'd like, come on by and check it out in person!

If I had a C7, I'd buy them!

Erik@lashway 10-17-2013 07:03 AM

Thank you.

The "Street" version are really nice, and have more of a contour of the side of the rocker and door. More of a tasteful item. The "Race" version shows more material and also looks stunning, but is not as "custom" built for this vehicle.

Stay tuned...

I can't wait to see the products!!!

Erik, a thought I've had for a carbon part is a strip that mounts (probably via trim tape) between the rear hatch glass and the removable roof panel, and just the width of the exposed carbon and glass. I think this could really enhance the "spear" effect of the painted edge on the exposed carbon tops if done with the same weave and gloss of the OEM top. Strictly cosmetic, I know, but would really enhance the appearance of the factory top and your ground effects kits. Any chance of you developing such a piece?

Looks very good. Thanks for being a pioneer and providing aftermarket parts so quickly. Can't wait to see what else you have lined up :)

Please make carbon fiber parts for all the ugly shiny black trim pieces.

Steven Bell 10-24-2013 09:48 AM

I just joined the Forum today and took delivery of my C7 Torch Red Z51/3LT Stingray just 7 days ago!

This will be a definite addition to my Corvette.....

Steven Bell 11-05-2013 09:28 PM

Any update, Erik?

Erik@lashway 11-13-2013 08:51 PM

Hey guys, yes. All molds are DONE.

Now we have them produced...fit them, test their durability, and offer to the public!!! Stay tuned, they are worth the wait. We are aware that there are some other companies offering products like this, but the quality is no where near ours.

For those who have been waiting, the parts are just about ready. We're going to install the entire package we're offering on our C7, and will post a formal marketing campaign complete with pics, specs, pricing and other info!!!

Stingray949 11-22-2013 09:25 AM

Great news, I'm very interested in the side skirts and front splitter. Hopefully the front splitter isn't some massive and overdone robotronic looking thing like LG's. Way tacky.

We are pleased to announce the release of our Splitter and Side Skirts for the 2014 Stingray.

Our parts were designed with am OEM look and feel. Nothing over the top, but more subtle and a cleaner finish.

The Splitter and Skirts are constructed entirely of Carbon Fiber and are made in the USA by G3 Composites, Inc. We worked closely with G3 on our personal Stingray to develop these parts with quality, fit, and finish as a main priority. We also kept cost in mind, as we wanted to offer parts that the working man could purchase (with the wife's permission of course)!

We offer two styles of skirts. A RACE version, which is straight cut from fender to fender. They are a more aggressive skirt by design and do protrude past the door sill an inch or so. They DO NOT interfere with ingress or egress of the vehicle.

The second style is a STREET style which contours to the rocker and fenders of the vehicle. They are must more subtle, and do not protrude past the door sill.

Both the Splitter and the Skirts mount using factory points, and 3M double faced tape for extra support where needed.

At this time, we only offer one style of splitter which we are happy with. Should demand for a more aggressive splitter present itself, we will consider a second style.

We're introducing these products at a lower initial price structure to get them on as many vehicles as possible. These prices will be good through the end of January, 2014. After that, regular pricing will go into effect.

Pricing:

Splitter - $999.99 plus s&h ($1299.99 regular price)
Race Skirts - $899.99/pr plus s&h (1199.99 regular price)
Street Skirts - $899.99/pr plus s&h (1199.99 regular price)

We also have a rear diffuser which will become available soon. We have one on our vehicle and are testing it's durability, and fit.

For more information, please call us directly or PM us here. We would be glad to answer any questions you may have. At this time, please allow for 1-2 week build time for all parts.
