Caravan from Texas?

Any fellow Texans planning a caravan to CF? Trying to see if I want to leave Tuesday and stop somewhere along the way or just make the entire trip on Wednesday.

We've found in the past it's easier to just to a few extra hours and get there in one day. Crime is terrible around Memphis and we've had quite a few issues in the past stopping. We had to when going to Indy but Bowling Green is not a bad one day drive.

Early Wed morning departure from the Houston, San Antonio areas with lunch near Texarkana or Little Rock and meeting up with the Dallas crew on the way North. It's a fun trip with walkie talkies or Zello.

Sounds good. I think it's around 9 hours from here so not that bad really.

Memphis isn’t that bad...okay maybe it is. But there are decent parts here in town.

LOL... yeah but we are talking about a caravan with a lot of eye candy. We've already had two break-ins (one not in Memphis) and then in Tunica we caught someone getting ready to break a window so we paid valet to watch our trailers and stuff. Traveling with a lot of valuables and having to un-pack and pack at a hotel stop when you're only 3 or 4 hours from the final destination just didn't make sense.

Yeah, you can sleep in a little and catch us when we come through. We normally hit BG around 6pm just in time for a nice dinner and then the fun begins.
