Help me answer my question
Thank you for taking the time to address my question. I recently acquired a 2021 1LT V6 with 6-way seats. I'm curious if it's possible to retrofit the necessary components to enable a memory seat option. I'm hopeful that the wiring might already be in place, and I'm considering installing a new driver's door panel with memory seat switches. It's possible I may also need to swap the seat itself. However, I've heard some mention that the vehicle's computer may not be pre-programmed for this particular option. This is my first Camaro, and I often find myself sitting in my garage, simply admiring the incredible design that went into the bodywork. It's nearly as stunning as my Harley.

Congratulations on your car and :welcome: to the forums  The body design is beautiful indeed, it's one of the reasons I never even considered a Mustang, for example.
It is correct that the ECM needs to be made aware of memory seats and your can didn't come with that feature (or the 8-way driver seat), I would contact Gen5DIY and Chris White with this question to see if they have done something similar. |
