I’ve got one. Many Z/28 owners never got the certificate of authenticity. I reached out to Al on LinkedIn, but didn’t hear back. I called offshore to GM customer assistance and was told they can’t help me. The original owner stated that he never got a certificate wth the car. I REALLY need the valuable paperwork. When you spend 76k on a camaro, you shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to get paperwork. How can I get a certificate for 2015 Z/28 #251. The original owner is available to confirm that he did not get one. Thanks in advance for your help with this matter as it is VERY important to me.

You spent 76k on a used Z/28?

Mine was actually built just before they decided to do certificates so they missed #23. Scott Settlemire (now retired) got one made up for me and it had 2013 instead of 2012 so he sent over the template since he was really behind all of this. I searched my files and e-mails didn't go back that far but did find pics of my cert which I blanked out the name and address and tried to make it square with some photoshop edits.

Maybe fill in the blanks and change up some more of the VIN and Engine stuff. Too bad this wasn't a Z/28 certificate. Would be much easier.

GM also set up a special username back in 2013 to request missing certificates. It's deleted now but I found another copy of one. Again all this stuff is ZL1...:sorry:

One of the reliable posters on another GM site who has connections within the company posted today about the Camaro...

"I'm getting word that with the transfer of Al O from the Camaro program, much of the Camaro Team has been disbanded and moved to other products. There are no plans for any changes or model additions for the 6th gen and will essentially cruise on auto pilot until the end of it's lifespan".

Can anybody here find out if this info might have come from Scott Settlemire?

Scott is retired and this definitely did not come from him. It's also false. A couple folks left before Al but the team remains. Some are also doing more than just Camaro too. And any talk about future plans or not is complete BS. Don't buy into the click bait.
