CAMARO SS UPGRADE TO 1LE SUSPENSION KIT
 

Does anyone know if this kit will fit on a 2SS convertible with MRC (kit 17-21+ CAMARO SS UPGRADE TO 1LE SUSPENSION KIT Part #84556736)?

The Chevy accessory website says the kit is for Camaro SS with MRC. Does that include convertibles.

The GM accessory website will allow me to order it when I type in my VIN but not when just indicate convertible.

Secondly, Has anyone done it and does anyone know how much and how will it impact my ride? will it be uncomfortably stiff when not doing track type driving or does it only activate when in track mode.

I already added the Brembo red "big brake upgrade" and it has MRC so I was hoping to create a 2SS 1LE convertible without the Recaro seats because I love the leather heated and vented seats.

I don't think it has anything to do with your vehicle being a convertible or a coupe. I think it has to do with already having MRC on your vehicle or not. I could be wrong, but I think the MRC option is something that shows up in your VIN, and if you do not have it, then you can not equip the suspension upgrade.

As I said, I could be totally wrong. It could just be that GM does not allow the package on a convertible.

It would help if you included what year your Camaro is.

As for the ride quality, it will be stiffer for sure. But the only way for you to know if it’s too stiff for you in normal driving is to try it out. This sort of thing tends to be very subjective to each individuals perception.
