I don't think my wife has ever actually screamed on account of any hard driving on my part (which can get pretty hard at times) in the 46 years we've been married, or in the two before that when we were dating.

All I have to avoid doing are unnecessary slalom-level maneuvers and braking much later than traffic ahead of us . . . what are you guys doing differently that brings out the screams?

You got to earn your stripes before you pass judgement young grasshopper. He's given more good advice here than you will ever know. Next time raise your hand before you talk to Norm:thumbsup:

There, there now........here's your bottle. Now be a good little boy and go sit down while us grown folks talk. Lack of respect much?? Do you ever think about anything before you spit or type it out? It's extremely hard to sense sarcasm on the Web and it usually comes off as someone being a d*ck. So, if that was your intentions, grow the f*ck up. If not, my apologies, but still, Show some respect for the site veterans. How would you feel if some guy in a 150k Lamb came up to you and pointed, "Hey look at that pos Camaro!!". Pretty sh*tty thing to do, right? Especially since we are all gearheads. Move along and we'll get along.

Sounds like my ex. Well, depending if it was a right or left, because a left would bounce her head off the window. Then I would hear a very sarcastic, "Thanks."

When I first got my Camaro I practiced a right from a southeast bound maindrag, 45MPH, onto a west bound 25MPH side street to take us home. So more than the usual 90 degrees.
I scoped out a drain in the curb ~40 feet from the intersection. When the Pirellis were warm that was my braking point. stayed in 4th. Smacked the Brembos, twisted the wheel, and before you knew it I was cruising at 25 MPH without one inch of leaving the center of the lanes. That impressed her.

But then when on a road trip, so I was unfamiliar with the streets, we lined up in the right of two left turn lanes as #5. I eased towards it when the signal turned green and noticed a mini-van right on my bumper. When I reached the intersection I turned left without slowing one iota. Left that mini van about 40 feet behind but I sure got the squawk out of the old lady. :character0182:

Never, ever, did she scream though.

ive learned to have my fun when shes not in the car.all that screamin, sharp intake of breath, etc. gets annoying after the first 20 years.used to be able to get her to brace for the crash pretty easily in the old hot rod though.

Wife absolutely hates it.. been together since kids and she saw me build my Nova.. Heck the motor was in my bedroom on a stand at 15 years old.. still have pics.. It's not a scared thing more of I think she got tired of getting put back in her seat over the years :).. Now I try soooo hard to not do it cause i know the look I get.. Once in a while I can get away with it if there is a good reason to get around something otherwise, I'm in the doghouse until it blows over LOL.. Now.. what cam package to choose?
