Hey everyone, I'm new here but not totally new to the Vette. I bought my first one on Friday and had it delivered on Sat. My parents have had Vettes but this is my first.

More pics to come later!

Post was from February, but I guess none of us noticed it until recently.

Hey i am new to this site and new to corvettes...i ordered my 2016 2LT Z51 on monday...no idea when its comin it but i have a question about the transparent roof....i have been reading that they let a lot of light in, has anyone tinted the inside of the roof panel before ?? Im considering doing this as soon as i leave the lot

I did not tint my transparent roof top. In the heat of the sun, it blocks out a lot of light and it probably isn't necessary.

I live in Texas, which has the same weather as NOLA, and I've never thought that the light coming through the transparent top was too much, heated the inside too much, or was too warm. It works a lot better than a sun roof. Now the handles on the roof, those have gotten very hot to the touch.

I'd recommend experiencing the car for yourself and then if you think you need then get it tinted. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised and find that tinting it isn't necessary.
