Getting caught red-handed!

Dealership employee gets caught bashing on customer car and attempting to get greasy fast food.

Glad this is getting coverage, that dealership needs to feel the wrath, that is just plain horrible. They got caught joyriding not even in the same city as the dealership as that is local to me.

Sadly that s*** doesn't surprise me at all I would have been freaking pissed!! They should have demanded new set of wheels and service for life!!.. I drive by that place all the time.. they won't be getting in my future business

SquawkVFR 09-06-2017 09:41 AM

How stupid can you be? 99.999999% of people walking around have cameras. Nearly every business has cameras. Everyone knows everyone. People have spy cameras in their cars now, GPS tracking, you name it. They know where their cars are and have been.

Why would you risk your job, and a possible and a$$ whuppin', over something so stupid? Businesses have lost money and had to close for far less....

gpskinzhut 09-06-2017 10:11 AM

I would have dragged that punk out of my car and let him walk back, and then have him try and explain to the service manager what happened. And if he curbed my wheels while backing up and trying to get away? Oh HELL no.

Royal Tiger 09-06-2017 10:46 AM

Lame apology.

This goes back to what I've said numerous times on this forum, GM needs to do SOMETHING about their dealerships. I have lost count of the number of bad experiences I've had at Chevy & GMC dealers, yet every Subaru, Porsche, & Mercedes experience was a joy, even when something was wrong with the car.

SSEssence 09-06-2017 10:49 AM

Through the facebook posts, a lot of people have come forth about that dealership in particular with lots of bad service experiences.

A GM dealership being scumbags? It must be a day that ends in 'ay'.

samman11 09-06-2017 12:28 PM

How does one play the video??!!!

Moto-Mojo 09-06-2017 01:49 PM

I'd have called for the employee's - and the mgr's, resignation. Abuse like that starts with management allowing and condoning it.

That is why I change my own oil.

CamaroFred 09-06-2017 03:01 PM

I would have made him get out of the car and driven it home.

Then, after an hour, call and ask if the car is ready.

sherob 09-06-2017 03:18 PM

I did not catch my Camaro being driven around, but the body shop did put 18 miles on it while they had it.

My displeasure was made to them via the Farmers survey after the repairs were done, as well as talking to the Manager when he called after he received a copy of the survey... he couldn't believe I had pictures of the ODO, as I explained this was exactly why I had them in the first place. :twitch:
