2016 Order / Allocation Question
 

I think I understand the Corvette allocation system but still have some concerns with my order.
I placed an order for a 2016 Z06 with my dealer who is between the 10th and 13th largest dealers in sales for 2015 vehicles. His current inventory is 11 units with 6 Z51 and a Z06. Earlier this year he had over 30
on the lot.
He told me he had 15-17 2016 Z06 allocations that should start to arrive around the 1st week of September, give or take a few days.
With 2015 production ending in mid to late June, have dealers actually received their 2016 allocations yet or are un-built 2015 orders becoming 2016 units at the top of the list?
My order was placed a few weeks ago but still has 1100 status which seems to be no allocation available.
I've been out of town for a couple weeks but will be stopping to see them Monday or Tuesday. Is there anything available to them that will show my order and where it is relative to other orders they have?
I ordered a 2008 Coupe from a very small dealer and waited almost 5 months - don't want to go through that again. Thanks....

I'm not sure on z06's but i know of several people who have ordered z51's and are at the 3000 status with tpw date the last wk of this month...

Have Becky check it for you. I think they just started scheduling 2016s this week.

The dealers should have the guide numbers for the year ahead therefore should be able to estimate how their allocations will fall. Something surprising is the number of Z06 allocations that are coming, many more than I expected.

2016 Production Schedules
 

Since Chevy is at year end production on 2015's, what are the dates for the following?
Last day for 2015 production
Start and end dates for plant shutdown for vacation & changeover
Start date for 20156 production

The 1st Week of 2016 production is next week..6/22
